neighborhood matriarchs on their front stoops, pedestrians negotiating New York
City’s busy sidewalks, and boisterous children at play, capturing people of every age,
race, and class. Also includes scenes shot in New Hampshire and Mexico. THE WAY I SEE
IT – a selection of photographs made by Syracuse City School students in response to
the street photography of Helen Levitt and others. MAJESTIC MOUNTAIN: Shining Sea –
this exhibition brings together an eclectic mix of works from the Everson’s collection
that highlights landscape’s enduring hold on the human imagination. Featured are

Robert Arneson, Kenzo Okada, Laura Gilpin and others. RESPONSIVE EYES – A retrospective
of a 1965 Museum of Modern Art exhibit which featured works by modern artists
who used abstract forms to examine how different shapes, patterns and colors could
affect the eye of a viewer. URBAN VIDEO PROJECT 2015-16: We Were Never Human – A
year-long exploration of the shifting idea of what it means to be human. Permanent
