Thursday, February 21st:
Betts Branch Library (4862 S. Salina Street, 435-1940) , 10:30am; Story Time – A lively mix of stories, songs, and rhymes make this a special time for you and your child.  Story times are a fun way to help your child develop skills they will need to be ready to read.  2pm;  Wii – Test your skill and play Wii with a staff member!
Paine Branch Library (113 Nichols Ave., 435-5442), 2pm – 2:30pm; An interactive children’s music program for kids 1-10. All of your favorite songs as well as stories put to music with books, puppets and felt boards.
Beauchamp Branch, 3pm – 5:30pm; Black Mastery in Action (family & community unification) Sista-Sista, Brotha- Brotha, What’s Going on? – Join us to learn candle making; an opportunity to design your own candle (gel or wax), create your own favorite fragrance; community working together in harmony. Also, door prizes available. Please call for registration at 315-435-3395.
Mundy Branch, 3:30pm; Happy Birthday Amelia Bedelia! – Join us for a birthday party and help make a giant birthday card for Amelia that will be displayed in the library and enjoy some stories and birthday treats.  For children ages 6+
White Branch (763 Butternut St., 435-3519), 4pm; Teen Readers’ Theater – Calling all budding actors and actresses, directors, stage managers and video and sound techs!  Help write a script and produce a theater production, complete with music and sound effects.  We’ll then read and record it for our Teen Readers’ Theater.
