Saturday, February 18th:
Betts Branch, 9:30am to 11:30am; Hooks & Needles. A time to chat, knit, crochet and share ideas in a casual and friendly environment. All are welcome!
Soule Branch, 11am – 12pm; Snow Much Fun Perler Bead Creations. Too cold to play outside in the snow? Then enjoy the winter indoors making snowflakes, snowmen and other wintertime creations with Perler Beads. Best for ages 6 and up.
Hazard Branch,1pm – 3pm; Knitters Club. Join Hazard’s needle work creators for knitting, crocheting and needlepoint. Beginners and advanced needle workers are welcome. Bring your own supplies and share needle work knowledge with your peers! 435-5326.
Beauchamp Branch, 2pm – 4pm; Family Movie Matinee. Enjoy the newly released film “Queen of Katwe”- based on the true story of Phiona Mutesi, a Ugandan girl who sees her world rapidly change after being introduced to the game of chess. Free popcorn while you watch! All ages
Petit Branch, 2pm – 4pm; Open Chess. Visit Petit to meet up with other chess players for a game. Beginners, experienced players, everyone is welcome. Chess boards are available or bring your own. No registration required.
Mundy Branch, 3:30pm – 4:30pm; Technology Camp. Explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math with hands-on activities. For ages 8 and up.
