Hazard Branch, 9:30am – 4:30pm; School Break Teen Programs. See Tues., Feb. 21st.
Beauchamp Branch, 9:30am – 11am; Preschool Play & Learn. Celebrate your favorite authors and book characters with stories, songs, rhymes and fun activities.
Central Library, 1pm – 4:30pm; Hand Embroidery for Beginners. Learn how to hand embroider in this creative and relaxing program. Ages 12 & up. Registration required.
Beauchamp Branch, 2pm – 4pm; Favorite Books from Famous People. What do Oprah Winfrey, LeBron James, Michael Jordan and Beyonce all have in Common? They all love reading! Listen to some of their favorite books, enjoy light refreshments and make a craft to bring home. All ages are welcome.
Hazard Branch, 2pm – 4pm; Kids Make: Stop-Motion Animation Videos. Make a short animated video with our new Stop-Motion Animation computers. Be as creative as you like! All supplies provided. Please register in advance at 435-5326. For ages 6-12.
Betts Branch, 6pm – 7pm; Knitting for Beginners with Maggie. Learn the basics of knit, purl, cast on, cast off, increase & decrease. Make a simple project scarf. Yarn will be provided. Please bring your own size 10 needles. Pre-register at (315)435-1940.
