Winterfest’s New event!
Cooking begins early and the entries offer samples to the public once the judges samples have been collected at about 2:30pm. Prizes for judges’ decisions and People’s Choice. Presented by the Updowntowners of Syracuse
SOUP COOKOFF – 11am – 3pm; Hanover Square. Presented by the Updowntowners of Syracuse, the cook-off pits area restaurants and others against each other to see who has the best chowder in CNY. The cook off yields some interesting creations as the public will be able to taste for themselves during the public sampling beginning approximately 2;30pm and then vote for the people’s Choice Award. A panel of celebrities will choose the winning entries, and the winners will receive plaques and cash awards.
