HELPING HOUNDS HUMAN DOGSLED RACE CANNCELED

After waiting until the deadline passed yesterday and still only receiving one registration for a team to participate, plus the weather not cooperating as far as snow is concerned, we have decided to cancel our participation in the Human Dog Sled Race this Saturday, 2/17/18.  It is unfortunate that there didn’t seem to be the interest in being a part of the race, plus the iffy CNY weather these days.

Build a homemade sled & a team of 4 pushers or pullers & 1 rider. Come up with a team name and costumes (if you like). Prizes awarded for 3 fastest teams, best costumes, & most funds raised for charity.

Noon – 2pm on West Water Street next to Clinton Square.

Entry fee: $300 per team.  The proceeds benefit Helping Hounds Dog Rescue to find forever homes for rescued dogs in the Central New York area.

Register online at www.helpinghoundsdogrescue.org;

Pre-registration deadline is February 14th. Day-of-registration will be conducted at the Winterfest ticket booth in Clinton Square.
