It was o­nly twenty five years ago when winter in Central New York was not such a wonderful time. The snow, the ice, and the cold are still here, but now southern vacations are delayed in favor of a Winterfest celebration.
Twelve Days of Fun!

From the center of downtown Syracuse to senior centers throughout o­nondaga County, everyone joins in the celebration. Kids will be kids, even when they're middle-aged. And there are not age limits when it comes to enjoying the bursting blooms of the colorful Winterfest fireworks display or the culinary delights created by hundreds of hands. What a Party!

With more than 100,000 people attending dozens of indoor and outdoor events, parties, cook-offs plus an abundance of other activities, the second largest audience in all of Central New York is drawn by Syracuse Winterfest.
